They should have Metro Star present it. Then it sails through, every time.

They do nice projects though, with nice design that fits the area in appropriate spots. They’ve never bypassed zoning with the 8-30g law, and they pulled that St. Gabriel project in Devon when the community opposed a project like that in a residential area. So they’re fine by me.

I also support mixed use at the mall though.

So if the taxes are so high in CT and they take all of our money (like many on here say) how does CT end up #1? Maybe things are not as they seem.
I know. For all the media hype surrounding how expensive it is to live here, youwould think there’d be nothing left over for retirement. That said remember too Connecticut is No. 1 in personal income and No. 1 in Disposable Income. That slows us to save more for retirement too. Jay

It would have been helpful for the study to separate private savings from public union savings (like 403b). By lumping them together study seems to me to implicitly mischaracterize the picture. Garbage.

That's dramatic. 401Ks pre and ROTHs post are the bulk across the board, across the nation

Looks nice. (see link at end of post). I hope it sails through the approval process.

Between Milford & Trumbull, I would expect each mall to add 600 or more city residents. I also think, within 5-10 years, Metro Star or a similar firm will acquire either the old Ho Jo's property (development looks dead now due to health issues of new developer) or the old Mill Pond Farms property and add an apartment complex to at least one, adding several hundred more residents. We have far too much abandoned retail property in Milford on US1. Converting some to housing stock is prudent, as online will keep sharply reducing the need for a retail footprint. The abandoned retail skeletons are, too often, eyesores.

^ok so rate of change is low. We are still #5 for GDP per capita. I believe that matters a whole lot more than the growth. WV GDP per capita is $37k lower than CT.

Extrapolate out 30 or 40 years and it’s rust belt.

If you believe you can extrapolate that data that long that is on you.
