what a difference in experiences. i went to both S&S (Newington) and CVS this afternoon and neither was any more crowded than usual. i was able to get through the express lane without much waiting and there was still plenty of stuff left on the shelves.

Why has this thread grown to 16 pages? It's just a freekin' snowstorm! Happens all the time. It will snow, then melt and be forgotten.

Campus? If she works for a college, that's a different story. They don't close as quickly as public school districts, but they're a lot better about it than general businesses are. Then again, this might be an unusual, historic storm.

It's a financial company in Stamford (suburban setting) with 3 buildings.
