Hi all-

I am looking for a new veterinarian hopefully.

I like my current vet and the doctors he has, but I feel they are a bit expensive (have heard this from other patients as well) and they aren't as close as could be (they are in Watertown, I'm in Torrington), there are many other vet hospitals that are closer to me.

I tend to like vets that are at least open to more holistic methods (chiro, acupuncture, herbal medicine, raw feeding, etc), or if they practice those methods, even better.

I've narrowed it down to three places I think I'm interested in, and would love to hear from people who have used these practices before.

1) Litchfield Hills Veterinary Hospital in Harwinton- Dr. Kraut

2) Tollgate Animal Hospital on the Litchfield/Torrington line. Dr. Gorra (Sr), Dr Gorra (his son), and Dr. Grinnell.

3) Northwest Corner Veterinary Hospital- Dr. Doyle

Any info would be so very much appreciated

We've used Dr Doyle in Bantam. Nice office/staff. Very good vet. Wish I could have seen your question sooner for you My family has used Dr Gorra when he was down in New Milford years ago.
