Alright, so I had a virus wipe out all of my content from iTunes library (which was saved on my laptop's hard drive). I still have everything on my Touch but I wanted to know if I am able to import it all back on this iTunes version 8? I remember doing it a couple of months ago but I totally forgot how I did this, does anyone have any pointers on how to restore or import the music, pictures, and video back into the iTunes Library?
I would suggest a google search, cause if you do it wrong you loose everything. Some guys I work with talk about turning off auto sync. So you have to manually sync the drive. Others talk of using some software that treats the drive like a harddrive and copies the files to you iTunes folder and rebuilds it. this ia more of a workaround for the older version.
Just out of curiosity what virus was this? I've never heard of a virus that targets your iTunes content.
