Adobe Air (installed, working, software, program)

I have not been able to get a really definitive answer by searching so I'll ask here.
Does the casual user (me) need Adobe Air ?
What does it do that I would notice if I uninstall it?

Adobe Air is a helper that allows developers to write software that can be run on multiple different platforms. It's sort of an interpreter that interprets the program to the language of your computer.

It was most likely installed alongside another program that you installed, and if you uninstall it that program will stop working.


Short answer: Uninstall it, and if a program needs it it will let you know and you can always install it again.
