I purchased my iMac back in 2010 with Snow Leopard. Since then I have upgraded to Lion and now Mountian Lion. My machine has slowed up a bit since the day I purchased it. I was curious if its because I installed all the new versions of OS X over Snow Leopard. Would it be smart to do a a fresh clean install of Mountian Lion? If so how would I go about this? I only have OS X Snow Leopard on disc.
I also have iWork and MS Office 2011 installed on my machine. MS Office is good for 3 macs and is maxed on three macs in my house hold. Would I have to deactivate the software before reinstalling OS X?
