Can anyone tell me about the Broad River Rd/ Longcreek Dr area. I'm looking to move into one of the apartment complex on Longcreek Drive off of Broad River Rd. Im looking at the Park Apartment Homes. How is the area as for as safety? Is it quiet and safe at night? Ive only visited during the day. By the way, Im relocating from Charleston.

The apartments on Longcreek Drive are generally fair, but probably not particularly quiet. I think most of the people that live in those complexes are relatively young so I wouldn't expect a lot of peace and quiet.

The Broad River Road area in general is pretty ghetto. I lived at a complex off of it when I first moved here for 6 months (The Mill at Broad River) and couldn't wait to move out. My gf lives in a fairly nice complex that is pretty isolated off BRR (Broad River Trace Apartments), so if I had to live in that area again, I'd choose those. I honestly would consider moving elsewhere depending on my financial situations and where I had to commute to work every weekday.

Agree 100% with the previous poster. We lived at Broad River Trace and loved it, and it really didn't have as many problems as my friends had in other properties further up Broad River Road.
