I am not familiar with that subdivision but I just came back from the area and the greater Columbia area is where I am moving to. It has everything you could want and is more affordable than the other areas I have checked out.
I live a near these communities. Spring Knoll and Summer Knoll are from the same builder and are nice middle of the line homes. Spring Knoll is a little cheaper with small lots. Summer Knoll has almost .5 acre lots. I would stay away from Lexington Hills.
There are several communities in this area. This side of Lexington is growing fast. I live two miles from these communities. We moved here from RI almost four years ago and love it. The schools, Lexington One District, are excellent. SC may be very low on all of the national charts, but that is from all of the small poor towns in between the large areas. My kids love the school and my wife and I couldn't be happier.
We Are In The Process Of Relocating To Lake Murray, S.c. Once We Sell Our House In New York. We Live In Orange County, Ny And Right Now Sales Have Slowed Down Here. At First I Was Excited About The Move But Since The Sale Of Our House Has Taken Some Time I'm Not So Sure.
I Have Been To The Lexington And Columbia Areas And Love It. We Also Visited The Lexington 1 District High School Closest To Lake Murray. It Is Beautiful.
My Main Concern Right Now Is Employment. I Am A Dental Hygienist And Presently I Am Applying For My My South Carolina License.
Any Information As To Job Availability And Salary Would Be Greatly Appreciated.
We are going without having jobs lined up. I am a little worried about the work situation there. I love the area though and hope to be there by spring.
