congrats. You should be very proud of yourself.

The best dorm on campus will likely be the one where you live

Default Moving to Golden

I will be moving to Golden CO, to attend grad school at Mines. I have found the cost of on campus housing to be beyond my budget. Can anyone tell me about areas of Golden/Denver and living conditions for apartment rentals? I will be flying out there in May to look for apartments, I am coming from Rochester NY, so I will not be able to come and go frequently, and hope to make appt's with realtors to look at apt's to rent starting AUg. 2010. Any info about living in Golden or Denver would be greastly appreciatred!

I hate to answer a question with another question, but doesn't Mines have an off-campus housing office that can help you? I'd start there.

Default Rentals Near School of Mines

I'm thinking about buying a home and will have a very nice 3 bdrm 2.5 bath condo to rent within a few blocks of Mines. I'm thinking $500 a room/student with the idea of three students, does this sound reasonable?
