chem trails in colorado (Denver, Loveland: to live, military, airplanes)

Are there a lot of chem trails in Colorado?

I was just browsing towns and saw this picture in Rye.

Would you say this is typical, or are the skies usually clear of them.

I don't see these very often over the Loveland / Ft. Collins area.

"chemtrails" came out of a conspiracy theory that says the trails coming out of airplanes aren’t actually “contrails” but secret government dumping of some sort of chemical agent for a variety of different reasons such as weather modification, biological warfare or a way for the military to create a cheap wireless network. Personally I think it is a bunch of hooplah.

Now to answer the question, I remember as a kid I would lie out on the lawn and watch the contrails overhead. I would always tell myself as soon as there wasn’t one in the sky anymore I would stop watching. I could lay outside for hours without a moment when there wasn’t still a contrail. So yes, there are lots of contrails in Colorado. I did grow up in Denver though, I don’t know if that makes a difference, maybe in CS or Ft Collins there aren’t many.

I used to live close by an Air Force Base, where the planes took off at all hours. I never knew what they were called. I would watch them in the sky for hours too.

You can find a lot about chem trails in the search engines. Here is a definition that I found:

"Definition of a contrail: A contrail occurs when a plane travels at a high altitude (about 30,000 ft. or more) and compresses the air into a water vapor or ice crystals through jet engines or the wing tips pushing through the air. This trail disappears after a minute or so due to evaporation, because it's water.

Aha! Another one of those nasty "government" conspiracies - spraying us unsuspecting citizens with pollution and biochemicals. . . . I think we have enough everyday pollution to deal with without concerning ourselves with supposed overhead pollution, that's for sure.
