Put it this way - we still have the elite D and run game. But this time? This time, we have the better QB. And it’ll show in Columbus on the 21st.
1. Penn State has not played against a real defense yet.

2. Penn State's best win is who? WVU, who is not a good team. Illinois, Delaware, and all the other cupcakes they played aren't going to tell you how good PSU is. They play Northwestern this week, who is probably the worst team in the B1G. Illinois is right down there too. So how can you say anything measurable by beating two of the worst teams in the conference? You can't.

3. Ohio State's defense showed something at ND. They are pretty darn good in the red zone. Sam Hartman is no slouch of a QB either. I'd take him over Allar any day.

I should hope Hartman is good. He probably has 2 phd's and a medical degree at this point he's been in college so long. I'll take my chances with Allar over Hartman and McCord at OSU.

Lol if Penn State is as good as you say, they would be in the CFP every year. James Franklin is the most underachieving coach in the nation.

lol - my general rule is that I don't make any predictions until Sunday after the game. So far I'm 100%.

As we used to say when Coach Hayes was still there, we're behind them, win or tie....

1. Yes they have. And they hung 31 points on them. WVU has a solid D too ranked 35th and they put up 38. No sweat.

2. WVU is 3-1 and will probably finish 7-5 or 8-4, same with Iowa. Those are two above average teams that PSU absolutely took to the woodshed. Illinois is better than you think too.

3. Hartman is good but will choke under pressure and turn the ball over. We know who he is at this point - an above average college QB who won’t sniff the NFL. Allar has a very high ceiling and is a future first round pick - protects the ball well (no turnovers) and throws a beautiful ball.

Ohio St’s offense isn’t as good as PSU’s this year. McCord will fold under pressure like a cheap suit and Allar will have his way with their porous D… and if he doesn’t, our stud RB’s will.

Hayes wasn’t even a pimple on Paterno’s ***.

Jacksonville State (3-1, 1-0) @ Sam Houston State (0-3, 0-0) (Thursday, 7:30). Both teams coming up from the FCS level, but only one of them is having success.
Louisville (4-0, 2-0) @ NC State (3-1, 1-0) (Friday, 7). Louisville squeaks out a road win.
Utah (4-0, 1-0) @ Oregon State (3-1, 0-1) (Friday, 9). One of the better games of the weekend, tough week for Oregon State with Wazzu & Utah back to back with a short week. At least this game is at home, but I don't think it's going to matter.
Cincinnati (2-2, 0-1) @ BYU (3-1, 0-1) (Friday, 10:15). No idea how Cincinnati is favored. They are at home, with a better overall record with the same conference record. Did someone really important from BYU get hurt in the Kansas game.
USC (4-0, 2-0) @ Colorado (3-1, 0-1) 12:00. Looks to be another tough week and a lot of points allowed for Prime.
Florida (3-1, 1-0) @ Kentucky (4-0, 1-0) 12:00. Kentucky's actually gotten the better of them the last couple years after going forever and a decade without beating them, but Florida resumes their stranglehold on the rivalry.
Arkansas (2-2, 0-1) vs. Texas A&M (3-1, 1-0) (@ Arlington) 12:00. The annual A&M/Arkansas game from Jerry's World.
Utah State (1-3) @ UConn (0-4) 12:00. Utah state traveling cross country. UConn was U-Could last year but is back to U-can't this year as in you can't pick them.
Clemson (2-2, 0-2) @ Syracuse (4-0, 0-0) 12:00. We'll find out how good Syracuse really is.
South Alabama (2-2, 0-0) @ James Madison (4-0, 0-0) 12:00. South Alabama dropping back to reality this year, and this game probably not going to put them on track
Buffalo (0-4, 0-0) @ Akron (1-3, 0-0) 12:00. One of the pillow fights of the week.
Eastern Michigan (2-2, 0-0) @ Central Michigan (2-2, 0-0) 1:30. CMU in the first directional Michigan matchup of the season.
Virginia (0-4, 0-1) @ Boston College (1-3, 0-2) 2:00. Power 5 pillow fight of the week!
Arizona State (1-3, 0-1) @ California (2-2, 0-1) 3:00. Another pillow fight, but not as bad as UVA/BC
Georgia (4-0, 1-0) @ Auburn (3-1, 0-1) 3:30. You throw records out the window in rivalry games like this one.
Illinois (2-2, 0-1) @ Purdue (1-3, 0-1) 3:30. I'll take the Illini.
Arkansas State (2-2) @ UMass (1-4) 3:30. Another pillow fight!
South Florida (2-2, 1-0) @ Navy (1-2, 0-1) 3:30. I thought USF might be one of the worst teams this year, but I think they go to 2-0 in the conference.
Ball State (1-3, 0-0) @ Western Michigan (1-3, 0-1) 3:30. Ball State on the road.
Boise State (2-2) @ Memphis (3-1) 4:00. One of the better non-marquee games of the day.
LSU (3-1, 2-0) @ Ole Miss (3-1, 0-1) 6:00. LSU over Ole Miss.
Coastal Carolina (2-2, 0-1) @ Georgia Southern (3-1, 0-0) 7:00. I'll take Ga Southern at home.
Notre Dame (4-1) @ Duke (4-0) 7:30. This is a tough spot for ND, on the road, and they were 1 play & 1 yard away from getting a win against Ohio State, so let's see how they respond to that loss.
Pittsburgh (1-3, 0-1) @ Virginia Tech (1-3, 0-0) 8:00. Under Frank Beamer, Virginia Tech with a home night game at Lane Stadium was an automatic loss for the road team. These aren't your daddy's Hokies.

Well, I'm sure you're the expert on Paterno's ***.

Woody won 5 National Championships. Your sad attempt to belittle him says a lot about you, and it ain't pretty. Shame on you.

Well that UCF meltdown was one of the worst I've seen for a while. Ahead of Baylor 35-7 midway through the third quarter and they wind up losing 36-35.
