Scooby Wright racking up all kinds of awards! Besides all of the Pac-12 accolades, he just received the Bronko Nagurski Award (Top College Defensive Player), then the Lombardi Award (Nation's Best Lineman).

Still to be decided are the Walter Camp and Bednarik Awards. Whew! Scooby says it's great and everything, but he just wants to get back to working out and practice! Congrats to a great season, Scooby!

the one i find interesting is that wright is a line backer, but didnt win the butkus award for top linebacker. go figure.

in other news, not only has mariota won the johnny unitas award, but he also just won the davey obrien award. the last four obrien award winners went on to win the heisman trophy.

Scooby Wright wins the Bednarik Award, while Marcus Mariota wins the Walter Camp Award. That should most likely make Mariota the Heisman favorite. They're both deserving young men. Pac-12 receiving much recognition!

Default Ouch

That was a tough loss for the Cats against the Bruins. I thought it would be more competitive. Much work to do obviously.

it would have been much more competitive, had the cats not given up a number of turnovers that gave UCLA a short field that resulted in 28 points. arizona shot themselves in the foot all through the first half. but they have to put that game behind them as next we get stanford, another tough opponent.
