I went to UConn and our team has never been very good and only up until recently(the last 6 or 7 years) has the football team really grown and done anything. We had our trip to a BCS bowl game and that was a fun trip, even though we lost.

I grew up a Florida State fan for a couple of reasons. First my Dad went to Miami and for some reason I wanted to pick a rival of theirs to be a fan of. Second, Charlie Ward. Guy was a lot of fun to watch and it's too bad he opted for an NBA career instead of the NFL. After he left I stuck with the team (not like it was hard to) and still root for them.

The Ohio State Buckeyes and then The Kent State Golden Flashes, because they're close to Cleveland, and my wife graduated from there.

Liberty University because I'm a 2013 Alum....GO FLAMES!!!! I could easily root for UT Austin (I'm from the Austin metro area) but I never attended and that would make me a T-shirt fan :P

then we had that wonderful game last week. Yes, it looks like a long season, but we have CO winning their first 2 games since 2008 and we have the Hogs winning 2. Then, let's talk or lets not talk, the Trojans.

What I would like to see among the BCS schools is to allow the schools to schedule ALL but one of their nonconference games themselves. However, allow a group of fans to decide what team would play what team for the other game. You would see games that most schools would LIKE to avoid. It might yield some interesting match-ups.

My team is the Colorado State - Pueblo Thundewrwolvs. Ranked 5 in the nation in division 2 and just beat a division 1 team!

I feel embarrassed, but UConn. Yes, we do play FBS football there now, even though the team is FCS quality and the coach couldn't coach a peewee league team.
