What reality checks you are talking about? Please don't bring up disastrous seasons from Auburn and Arkansas.
Alabama has played TWO good teams all year and they struggled with both of them! They have a complete bakery schedule (all cupcakes and creampuffs) and two tough teams. Perhaps the SEC should start scheduling a real OOC schedule instead of Western Kentucky, Western Carolina, Georgia Southern, Jacksonville State, ULL Ragin' Cajuns, Bowling Green, Towson, etc.

Yes because of overhype, regional bias, and pollster/media bias. It's sickening the racket the SEC and ESPN have set up. Every year the media overhypes and overranks a bunch of SEC teams and then they play ridiculous OOC schedules to puff up those rankings even higher. That way by the time the conference schedule rolls around they are all ranked in the top 15 so even losing doesn't drop them very far. LSU and SCAR being ranked ahead of a 1 loss FSU team in control of it's destiny to win the ACC is a travesty.

Let's talk about Georgia, since I believe from your handle that's your team, is there any team more overrated in the entire nation than UGA? Has any team in the top 10 had an easier schedule than Georgia? UGA's schedule makes Alabama's look like Murderer's Row by comparison.

09/01/12 vs. Buffalo
09/08/12 at Missouri
09/15/12 vs. Florida Atlantic
09/22/12 vs. Vanderbilt
09/29/12 vs. Tennessee
10/06/12 at South Carolina
10/20/12 at Kentucky
10/27/12 vs. Florida
11/03/12 vs. Ole Miss
11/10/12 at Auburn
11/17/12 vs. Georgia Southern
11/24/12 vs. Georgia Tech

Are you kidding me? That's 10 guaranteed wins and two toss ups! And they got manhandled by the easier of the two toss up teams! That's a shameful schedule for a supposed top team. And the worst part of it all is they still have a path to the NCG! Give me a break.

If a SEC team (Bama or UGA) make to the ship, they will win. No doubt about.

Bama could but I don't think UGA could beat any team in the top 3 right now.

7 wins, 0 losses in BCS title games (not counting last year). Did ESPN set that up, too?

When one conference keeps stomping other conferences' best into the turf, year-in and year-out, well, the "bias" is earned.

UGA could; the question is, will they self-destruct before getting that chance.

UGA got their <Mod Edit, let's say "beat"> at home by the only decent team they've played all year. LOL.

Georgia never got beaten at home this season.

Lets not forget South Carolina could beat those undefeated teams and Alabama too. Even without Lattimore.

No the question is will the play calling be vanilla or just plain retarded. UGA players could match up with anybody.
