I wonder how much Matt Hayes got paid by the Big XII (or Bowlsby himself!) to write this article?

Sounds like the NCAA told Bowlsby no dice on the Big XII Championship game with only 10 members in the conference.

Even though we lost our bowl game against Oregon, I am happy to see K-State doing well across the board. Good job, Wildcats.

"It also completes something of a triple crown with league titles in football, men’s basketball and baseball, a feat accomplished one other time in Big 12 history — by Texas in 2005-06."

Yep. No doubt we should have added UL in addition to West Virginia.

Well, the Big 12 Media Days started today, and finish tomorrow. Commissioner Bowlsby mentioned an eighth official, RF chips implanted in the shoulder pads (even he didn't seem to know the exact purpose for that), and disagreements between the "Big Five" and "Other Five" conferences in FBS. He thought that there needed to be restructuring of the NCAA to get certain reforms passed. That said, he stated that he hadn't heard of any plans to "break away" and form a new association.

Mike Gundy, Bill Snyder, Gary Patterson, Charlie Weis, and Kliff Kingsbury spoke and took questions today. Bob Stoops, Mack Brown, Dana Holgorsen, Art Briles, and Paul Rhoads do the same tomorrow.

Here's more.

^^^I like the new logo! That old logo was looking a little outdated. Now if we could just get back to 12 teams at some point that would be even better...lol.
