Poor rest of the SEC West. My intent for the thread way back was that others could challenge Bama and others, sort of like LSU and Auburn have done from time to time.

Ole Miss, Mississippi, Arkansas, A&M most recently, big disappointments.

I honestly thought the constant strength of schedule of playing the likes of Bama, LSU, and Auburn would keep the others sharp across the board.

Several teams from the PAC 12 are gonna make some conference stronger, probably mostly the Big 10?

I guess we shall see.

Nick Saban doesn't look done quite yet I guess.

The SEC is plain mediocre this year. Just one team in the Top 10 right now.

I don't see the SEC-West dominance right now, do you?

The rest of college football has caught up to the SEC it seems to me.

My UGA Bulldogs don't look nearly as good this year as the past 2 years. Good thing they have a soft schedule. I give them a 20% chance to make it into the playoffs this year.

Agree. We will find out more about Georgia this week when they play a road game for the first time this season. I know it's Auburn, and Auburn has not shown brilliance, but it's a rivalry game.

Don't worry.

No telling how Bama will turn out. They get treated differently than all else.

Also, wait until next season when the Longhorns and Sooners get added.

Don’t forget Saban almost lost last week to a fairly weak Auburn team.

Should be interesting to see in about an hour. What a crazy final ranking it will be if neither SEC team is in the playoffs. But that's seems to be a more likely outcome.
