I was being sarcastic... Hence the lol. I'm sure those states are technically in that region. But people in Mississippi & Louisiana don't say I'm from the South West or West South Central... They say I'm from the south!
And I don't care about Texas, Arkansas, or Oklahoma which is why I didn't bring them up.
I dont agree with your cultural comment... So since it can be argued... Tell me what people in Louisiana and Oklahoma have in common culturally that is more than People in Louisiana and Alabama?
And don't use Wikipedia or the census. Tell me something that is not in a book. Give me something authentic.

Feeling is mutual towards you East-Enders, Pardner.
As per your inquiry about Louisiana....it is the least like the other three states in question, no doubt. I think it could be argued, in fact, that Louisiana is the most unique state culturally in all of the South. Where else can you go in the Deep South and hear a Bronx accent (many folks in NOLA).
Northern Louisiana is not worlds away culturally from Oklahoma/Texas/Arkie. (Been there many times and have many friends from there.) Our speech (especially in Texas/Oklahoma/Western-Ark) is much more "twangy" than what you might here in northern Louisiana but Okie/Texan is obviously still a derivative of Southern dialect. Also with speech patterns, food, a high conglomeration of Southern Baptists/Evangelicalism, crazy college football culture, and music are other cultural commonalities.
One thing I've noticed is that folks from OK/TX tend to be a tad more outgoing than those from the Deep South, in general.....that's probably another difference with Louisiana too. We tend to be rowdier and obnoxious in a good way (call it Southern Redneck or as we like to say out here Reddirt Redneck) than most from the Southeastern side. Probably the Old Cowboy&Indian in us.

Yeah, and guess what, folks...Arkansas, a team that can't play defense worth a flip, hands K-State its lowest point total of the season.
Big 12 football...LOLOLOLOL!
Like I said, LSU vs. Bama = 1 and 2. Accept it.
Kansas State seemed to make a living off of disciplined play through the regular season, since neither its offensive nor defensive statistics scared opponents much (96th and 74th, respectively). Obviously, tonight was different: KSU denied itself opportunities, which prevented the team from having a chance to win, imo.

True.
What was with all the dropped passes? I'm thinking, how in the world do these receivers get scholarships if they can't hold on to a pass that hits 'em right in the numbers?!
It wasn't too bad of a game. Things got a bit exciting towards the end of the half. K-State was within a td for much of the second half and they had a shot at catching up.
The missed field goal was a big factor as far as momentum goes.

A reasoned perspective, to be sure.
