After watching the game, our main problem was turnovers, missed tackles (again, really? ) and a poor showing on the o line.
If we dont turn the ball over I think we have anywhere from 2 or 3 extra first half touchdowns. But that's all woulda coulda talk.
With that said the second half was great, but id still like to see more strong running game.
And like a previous post stated, slow starts will vet ya beat against the teams in the Big Xll.

On the downside, our defense seemed at time to line up late, confused on the play call, and still miss tackles.
Diaz better gett it right or I hope we find some else who can!!

Overall rating B- Not bad for the first game, and hopefully we can improve on that!!

Hook Em!*

We just got the LHN on our TWC Friday.

Since Saturday's game, it seems like they've replayed it 3 or 4 times a day.

The 90 minute 50th anniversary tribute to the 1963 National Championship team was great.

The game day production was very good quality, but it was funny that the broadcasters tried real hard not to say anything bad in the first half when the Horns were sucking. Kinda like Dave South for aggy. lol

Listening to the first half on the radio like I did - Craig Way got REAL excited over the two TDs late in the 1st half. (Dave South would not be on a TV broadcast).

They can do better than that. Texas has one of the 3 richest athletic departments in the country. They could afford to pay Nick Saban a king's ransom if they wanted to.
