I must admit, Dickinson Lofts is looking much better as it nears completion. I’m still not a major fan of that cream colored vinyl, but nonetheless the building is fitting the area much better.

That reporter did not do their homework. The bridge is owned by Norfolk Southern and leased by Carolina Coastal Railway. CSX does utilize that trackage daily to reach the Nutrien phosphate facility at Lee Creek, but some simple research would have revealed ownership.
They also change Kevin Mulligan's name to "Fenton" at the end of the article, presumably Gary Fenton, Parks & Recreation Director, after mentioning the fact that Mulligan wrote a memo to the city manager. Gary Fenton is not referenced anywhere else in the article and has nothing to do with the story at all.
The Reflector is just truly awful. I don't know if they printed a name with the article but the online version does not credit a reporter. Maybe they were too embarrassed.
