I really like it there and I think I just love the Ocean it is so peaceful to watch. We went there today and took the kids to the Ocean to pick up shells and we think we saw dead sting rays and stuff that looked like jelly. Anyway it was cold and fun. Everywhere you go there you see things with horses on them. Are there really wild horses that run up and down the Ocean. We also saw tracks today that didn't look like a dog more like bear could that be possible.

I keep thinking what a frigid trip during this time period lol glad you had a good time.
If I could line up work where I didnt matter what my location was this would be consider as an option.
Did you find sea shells that are like the shape where it looks like a phone ? Im just curious because I collect shells and all I find are the clam like shells when I go.

The black bear population has increased over the last 20 years so it is possible due to the natural settings the OBX provides.

the whole state

They were like clam like but big ones. There were a lot of stuff on the shore. It was cold but we are from Michigan so to us it wasn't that bad. It was very interesting there was a wedding on the shore today. We saw cars and then the Bride was about to cross the street to head to the shore. I hope it was just for pictures, but there was a lot of cars. It was cold for that.

Yes, the wild horses are pretty far north up past Duck. Never heard of them actually in Nags Head.
