Can anyone share information about the Guilford textile company as an employer in Wilmington? Secondly, what would be considered the "best" areas to live in the Wilmington area, especially school districts for K-8.
Best public elementary schools according to SchoolDigger are Ogden, Parsley, Codington, Eaton, Wrightsville Beach, Topsail, Holly Tree, Bellamy, Blair. Best Middle Schools are Noble, Myrtle Grove, Murray, Roland Grise and Trask. I have no firsthand knowledge, just website research. There is also a good (expensive) private school called Cape Fear Academy and a Catholic school called St. Marks.

What in particular do you want to know about Guilford? I have heard it is a fair, profitable company doing all the right things to keep it that way.
PS: I am told the most exclusive area would be Landfall. That would fall under Wrightsville Beach elementary school.
