I have a subscription and I haven't even opened that issue. It annoys me.

Maybe you could at least type out the top 5 so people that don't have it can vote???

Rating The Suburbs | Cleveland Magazine - Your guide to the best of Cleveland

The "list:"
1.) Twinsburg
2.) Orange
3.) Avon
4.) Solon
5.) Aurora

All outer-ring suburbs...how daring! Twinstucky being top-rated is hugely amusing.

I definitely don't agree. Avon is the most boring city ever and half the kids think they are ghetto... does anyone have an expanded rankings list? Like top 10 or 15?

I don't like Twinsburg at all either. Looking at the list, it seems like the only ratings they got right were the education and walk-ability when looking at the cities individually.

The crime ratings seem to be off as well, and I don't understand them.

I haven't looked at the magazine article itself yet but this is what I found on the internet:
Rating The Suburbs | Cleveland Magazine - Your guide to the best of Cleveland

Does anyone have the full ranking list?

That top 5 list just comes off as which areas are the most boring and sprawling.

There is nothing in those top 5 cities that cannot be found in another suburb in the area. So why Twinsburg over Solon, Beachwood, Shaker Heights, Mentor, etc...?

Seems bias to me or they are giving every suburb a "turn" to be one of the best suburbs in the area.

I even heard that Bath made the top 20. Is it just me, or is Bath an Akron Suburb?

These types of lists are so subjective it's not even funny. They use criteria such as "diversity" and "walkability." Not everybody wants walkability, and A LOT of people sure as hell don't want diversity, so this drags down awesome west side suburbs that haven't been ghettofied yet.

I have to agree. I think they want to just give every suburb a turn so they make everyone happy and they sell more magazines.

Speaking of the west side suburbs, how did Westlake and North Olmsted do?

I think Westlake was 17, don't think N. Olmsted was ranked.

These are a joke just to sell more magazines. Its not different than the Forbes listings that always smash Cleveland
