As a downtown clevelander, I just want to start a more "lighthearted" post about the city

What do you guys wish downtown Cleveland had, in order to make it a nicer place overall??

My vote: I wish there was a Cheesecake Factory here!! (and not all the way in WESTLAKE)

we have enough cheese cake factories and dave and busters is not that far from downtown... now on the other hand, they should have a d&b on the far east side like in mentor

Department stores, like it had in the old days. A major full-service bookstore, like maybe a Borders.

Wish the REAL Cleveland Ballet was back.

More theatre productions. More musicals. An area of arts.

Enough of the chain restaurants & stores.

More unique restaurants & stores.

I'd go downtown for those sort of things.

Restore Rockefellers home; tours, etc. Bring that area back to life for it is major history & is always overlooked

Not going to go downtown for Cheesecake Factory or Borders...sorry....

It would also help if companies kept their workers in the downtown hub rather than pushing them out into Beachwood or Elyria.

I think I would leave downtown if there was a cheesecake factory .lol. Department stores, book store, a decent diner, more residents, regular street cleaning would be nice for starters.

We need to look at Chicago and improve our lakefront near downtown. I would like to see an aquarium like Chicago has.
