A new restaurant is planned for the old Watermark location, one of the best waterfront restaurant spaces in Cleveland.

Much like the Heinen's in the Cleveland Trust Rotunda, this restaurant will be a draw for those with great memories of dining at the Watermark. If the product is good, it should be a success.

Glad to see some in-fill development on the south side of Prospect generally and especially at its corner with Ontario. Wahlburgers opening there this spring.

That public plaza in front of the Q apparently will disappear as the Q expands to Huron, eliminating the set-back. This plaza was widely used over the past year during Cavs and Indians' play-off games. Apparently, something very good will be lost due to the Q expansion/renovation, which will reach Huron Road.

I believe there is a parking lot across from the Q running between Prospect and Huron. I wonder if the city is planning to acquire that land for a new plaza.

No! We can't lose the plaza or, at a minimum, a new one must be reconfigured. If the lot you mention is the one I'm thinking of, that's where nuCLEus is supposed to be built.

It then sounds like the plaza will be gone. I guess in the future celebrations will take place on Public Square, unless streets are shut done for big events and used as malls.

I wonder if anybody has considered the need for the plaza and its prospective loss.
