Oh yeah, that place is great.

A few more Lakewood Park Pictures. Nothing to feel inferior about here.

Another place for extreme peace and relaxation is a Mapleside Farms in Brunswick. These pictures do not do this place justice. Go there at sunset and you’ll see exactly what I’m talking about!

After final game at Progressive Field for the 2015 season, from Scranton Flats

All pics from me posted from a one-night tour. Really wish I had more time to pull enough Cleveland looks together for a proper photo tour like I've posted in several other city forums, otherwise I'd have already posted one.

I don't understand it. I jut don't. How are you not proud of where you're from? Even when downtown was a sh*t hole I wasn't embarrassed to be from here.

Anyway, friend likes Charlotte. She lives on Lake Norman so loves her home and the area but the commute is a killer. It's not even that far from home but the congestion makes it MINIMUM an hour. Thankfully for her she only has to do it 3 days a week.
I couldn't imagine.

What Peregrine said, I've never been embarrassed to be from Cleveland. Actually, I think it's pretty cool to be from Cleveland.

The best way to get over it would be to go live somewhere else. After 6 months, you'll start realizing that everywhere has inconveniences and various problems to some degree. You'll understand Cleveland more for what it is, and this is sometimes vastly underrated by the people who live there.

Wanna go to an Indians game this week? Just checked online- $15. How about Red Sox? $41. That's hardly the only thing that Cleveland gets way cheaper too. And it isn't proportional to salary. At the end of the day, you just have so much access to top of the line stuff in Cleveland. Of course Cleveland isn't unique in having great things, but it is rare to have it whenever you want for such prices.

Interesting post. I'm not embarrassed to be from Cleveland. The reason why I say I wrestle with it is because maybe I guess I've internalized what's been said nationally whether it's sports or otherwise. Or, maybe it's more frustration because the city is not where it should be you hear Pittsburgh and even Detroit getting major national hype and it seems like CLE is still being used as America's whipping boy. Plus, you hear a lot of African American Clevelanders and rankings say that it isn't a city for African Americans. How did you feel about Cleveland before you moved out of town? What do you feel that's vastly underrated? Why do you feel it's vastly underrated by people who live in Cleveland?
