No, not necessarily. I have friends in Asheville NC, Alpharetta GA, other areas like Greenville SC, etc... and the houses are on like 1/2 acre lots, some even larger.
I have many friends here in orlando with homes like that aswell. Even in my neighborhood the homes are nice and spread out

lol that's because you haven't had any real hurricanes. Try telling that to my parents in Naples who saw those new houses/condos trashed.
You do realize that 95% of Levitt homes have been renovated and added on, right? Half the houses in Levittown don't even look like Levitt houses anymore rolleyes And trust me, renovated Levitts look WAY better than expanded trailers that you find in many of the south.
You do realize that this in no way addresses the quality issue, right?
I won't even address the other part of your post as it is quite a ridiculous comparison. Try a comparison of NY trailers to Florida trailers if that is your intention, not a home to a trailer.

lol yes, this does address the issue. You're the one who brought it up. You said the Levitt houses are unattractive, so I showed you how nearly all Levit houses have been modified so much that they don't even look the same anymore. It also makes the house sturdier since most have added on and updated.

I never said they were unattractive, though many are. We were discussing quality and I posted a link which discussed the lack of quality in many homes built right after the war.
My link was to counter your biased opinion which was backed up with no proof.

Yea and if a category 4 hurricane went through Long Island they would see just as much if not more devastation than Naples did.
Orlando has had a handful of tropical storms and cat. 1 hurricanes come through this past decade. And hurricane Charley was was a cat 2 when it came through Orlando and my house along with every other house in my area is still standing strong. I didn't see any significant damage to any homes.

Thats because the hurricane didnt hit Waterford Lakes that hard but it did blow out many porches. But go to Union park and more west and there was severe devestation.
