This is self explanatory. Whats the most attractive city between the two? Durham, or Baton Rouge?
Durham, NC
Moderate crime rate. majorly black. highest creative class and IQ index in the country. Relatively same population as baton rouge,
baton rouge,la
Moderately high crime rate. Heavily dependent on New Orleans. However, attractive city. Very suburban in feel. ranked one of the top places to ride out a recession along with durham.

Your definition of a ghetto is a majority black city. You are very ignorant and this thread is anything but amusing.
My personal favorite is Durham; however, like others I find the moniker 'ghetto cities' highly inaccurate in these cases, not to mention offensive.
In addition, I don't think it is fair to say that Baton Rouge is 'heavily dependent on New Orleans'; as it is the capital of LA and home to the state's university, it's pretty clear to me that it stands on its' own.
ghet·to (gt)n.pl.ghet·tos or ghet·toes1. A usually poor section of a city inhabited primarily by people of the same race, religion, or social background, often because of discrimination. 2. An often walled quarter in a European city to which Jews were restricted beginning in the Middle Ages. 3. Something that resembles the restriction or isolation of a city ghetto: "trapped in ethnic or pink-collar managerial job ghettoes" (Diane Weathers).
thanks for clearing that up. BTW, did you all even catch the positive accolades I attributed to these cities. People here the word ghetto and they imediately get offended. jeez.
