Both Baton Rouge and Durham were 45-50% black a decade ago. Those two cities are not necessarily dominated by blacks. They're not overwhelmingly black like Detroit or Gary.

wtf. I live in durham now and it not even all ghetto. yes it has it parts dont get me wrong(and i live right around the corner from "those parts") but there are plenty of upper middle and solid middle class areas. Even some "black" areas are really well to do. so yeah...
