I really can't tell from your pictures. Those downtown areas look nice from the sky. Maybe you should go in some of those "ghetto" neighborhoods from each city and come back and post them to the site. We all would love to see that!!!

Also, you should have asked whose skyline is better because going off of those pictures would require us to do our own research based on your question. If you want your question answered, you have to provide a little more.

Both Baton Rouge and Durham were 45-50% black a decade ago. Those two cities are not necessarily dominated by blacks. They're not overwhelmingly black like Detroit or Gary.

wtf. I live in durham now and it not even all ghetto. yes it has it parts dont get me wrong(and i live right around the corner from "those parts") but there are plenty of upper middle and solid middle class areas. Even some "black" areas are really well to do. so yeah...
