I think both of these skylines are good examples of how a skyline can have a personality and represent a city; I also think they show how a skyline doesn't need to be huge to be visually arresting. That said, I voted Philadelphia because Pitt's wouldn't be that impressive without the rivers.

Pittsburgh is very nice, but Philly is one of the best in my opinion.

Give me Philly.

I like the Pittsburgh skyline better,it has more character,it sits on rivers that become one and it has beautiful Mount Washington to look down on to the downtown from the southbank.

It is not as big as Philadelphia but has to me a more vibrant and appealing feel considering that it is in the mountains.

This is a tough one for me....LOL.....I love Philadelphia's skyline and buildings, plus it has a great center city....very vibrant.

However, based on the overall beauty, density and dramatic location of The Golden Triangle....I have to go with Pittsburgh's skyline; especially when viewed from the surrounding hills and how the downtown "pops" into view after passing through the tunnels.

IMHO.....I think Pittsburgh has about the best skyline of any U.S. city....though not the largest by any means. The amount and variety of bridges connecting the Golden Triangle to surrounding neighborhoods also adds to the skyline's uniqueness.

Pittsburgh's teeny tiny skyline can't be compared with Philly's. Pittsburgh has the most overrated skyline in US and is one of the most overrated cities. Don't get me wrong. Philly is also a bit overrated, but to a much smaller extent.
