Hey everybody I would say that Los Angeles is the city that has the most overated downtown because the city downtown buildings don't have as much character or style as the listed cities. The city is also behind Houston which is ranking number one and my opinnon on that is that Houston does have a little more character then Los Angeles as far as the structures there. Now saying Houston is overrated is very dramatic because on most threads people are saying that Houston downtown is a terrible look.My question is who amp or hype Houston downtown beside locals there to make it as a optional overrated city?
I'd say New York. Yea it has sheer size and amount but that only hides how it's sloppily put together. I'm not saying it's a bad skyline but it's overrated. Chicago is much smaller but it looks soooo much better then New York. The buildings are nicer and it's well put together. New York's skyline seems nice because it's big but bigger doesn't mean better. That's just my opinion.

Here are some of those hawkeyeariel.com photos of downtown San Jose. These pics show that the skyline is not only short, it is sparse. A dense skyline is one where the skyscrapers are tightly packed (little space between them). An extreme example is NYC where some of the tall buildings are literally wall-to-wall with NOT space between them. That is not the case in SJ. There is ample space between adjacent highrises, and very few highrises overall in downtown SJ. The pictures don't lie.

Nice pictures and most current. You left out the most impressive one. I think it's kind of cute. It's still great, though. Thanks.
