Chicago - I just think the reputation is a little more for Steaks traditionally than NY.

Chicago has the best steak houses all day! the best are Mortons, Gibson's & even Ronny's Steak house which has good steaks for reasonable prices. Chicago is traditionally well known for its steaks, pizza, italian beefs, grilled polishes & hotdogs. Chicago is the best baby! CHI-CITY!!!

I gotta go with Chicago. It was the meat packing capitol at one time and has some great steak houses.

Since Chicago has gone downhill in the steak department over the years I have to go with New York. Last few times we visited we had not just amazing steak dinners but amazing meals period.
I feel that there are better steak houses in places like Kansas City, Indianapolis, Omaha, Dallas...

interesting...it was 15 to 9 chicago ten minutes ago...now it's 16-15 new york with only one reply. The exact reason this site will continue to be a joke...

To make it worse, the last person who responded just joined the site today...LOL and they put places like Omaha, Indianapolis and Kansas city in front of Chicago...LMAO...New Yorkers are too silly.....
