Both are nice mid-sized cities with great skylines. Pittsburgh gets a lot of attention on this website, while Minneapolis sort of hangs out in the corner and doesn't say too much.

Which do you prefer?

My personal preference is Minneapolis, but I'm sure there are plenty of you other there who don't agree.

I like Minneapolis's skyline better. Pittsburgh also has an awesome skyline with its bridges and all building in a compact area.

Pittsburgh's skyline lacks the height of the Minneapolis skyline, but IMO Pittsburgh still wins because it has better density overall, the presence of several big bridges, as well as the Appalachian foothills as a backdrop.

Pittsburgh by far.

I use to live in Minneapolis, and it isn't that impressive. Pittsburgh peaks around at you from hillside and hilltops, so certainly more interesting...particularly with that river right there in front of it.
