Bristol VA / Johnson City TN v Morgantown,WV (compare, difference)

Can anyone compare these two cities? the terrain, the winters, the over all feel of the cities,activities and the colleges. Basically anything you can tell me.

WVU had football. ETSU does not.

ETSU may not have football, but its basketball program is good. Not sure if the OP even cares about the sports aspect though. Both areas are nice, my personal preference is Johnson City. I don't think the terrain is much different, but much milder weather would be found in TN.

Can you tell me about the over all feel of the cities? I LOVE snow, so how much snow would you say the Johnson City / Bristol VA area gets? Is there much of a difference between Johnson City and Bristol when it comes to weather?

I love college football too, but that's not a major concern. Does ETSU have a good reputation?
