I voted DC. A friend of mine lives in Philly and does a lot of work around the East Coast. They are from columbia and I am from Charlotte so I think our views may be the same. My friend prefers DC and says it is more livelier. I'm assuming I will feel the same. I have briefly been to both and I didn't see all the hype for either one. But then again I wasn't able to really experience any of them, so when I get the chance who knows what may happen. So we'll see.
Btw, I am starting to think Philly may be a Southern city in disguise because it does get bashed a lot.
You're right. I'm a piece of crap for moving to DC in 3 days. I'm an underpaid DC firefighter that can barely afford rent in the city, but I deserve it because I stole all of your money.
You are confused, taking what I said entirely out of context. I was specifically referring to Dc's finest unprovoked, uncalled-for, condemnation of Center City Philadlephia.
I'm not saying that you are stealing my money but what I am saying is that Washington DC has an enormous economic perk being the federal capital of the USA.
Dcs Finest is correct in his/her statement that downtown Washington has more office space than Center City Philadlephia, but what DC's finest failed to mention/realize is WHY Washington DC has more office space than Philadlephia and SF combined.
I was only poking fun at you! Don't take this so seriously. Philly is a great city that is often overlooked. I would rather do Philly than NYC anyday and I am from Brooklyn.
