Problem, it's a long sail ! ( there are a lot of us who do not fly anymore ). If you drive everywhere like me , I guess the best place to live is under 1,000 miles. Otherwise, the Pacific Rim is as good as it gets

An easier question for me woudl be where wold I not want to live in.

Nebraska.

North Eastern Colorado.

Yuma, Pheonix or any of the low desert places.

Parts of Texas, including Houston.

Eastern Washington.

Pretty much everywhere else is great, at least in places.

I'd chose the somewhere in the Carolinas or somewhere in the Tampa/St. Petersburg/Orlando region. I'm familiar with those areas and just love them.
