Oops, I voted Hawaii instead of California. I definitely think California is better, Hawaii is nice for beaches and vacations but can't even compare to California.
For a relaxing vacation or surfing hawaii. I had to vote Cali for eveything else including vacation as i don't surf and don't like to spend my vacation relaxing. I like to get out and do stuff on my vacation.
Hawaii is amazing, but it is one of the most isolated spots on the planet.
For living, California.
