Which cities are most characterized by:

- lots of singles and young, active families
- nice suburbs and city neighborhoods filled with kitschy cafes, shopping districts, boutiques, etc.
- Consumer habits concentrated around Starbucks, the Gap, and European car dealerships.
- White-bread, suburban vibe
- Trendiness

Basically, what the most yuppie cities besides the easy picks (LA, NY, Boston, and SF). The super-urban cities are obvious--but what about the rest. Which cities are best for yuppies?

My poll includes a few coastal cities (DC, Philly, etc.) so the title is a litle misleading--but they're not seen as traditional yuppie cities like New York. So I chose to include them.

What's DC doing on that list? It's basically east coast.

My vote is for Denver.

Then you probably should've changed the title. It is very misleading.

Anyhow, I'd say New York, Seattle, Philly and Boston. Hey, you included DC, Charlotte, etc so I included my own.

NY, Boston, and SF are not Yuppie at all. I think you are confused, how are those cities white bread suburban cities? I think more of cities such as LA, San Diego, Atlanta, Indianapolis, Kansas City, etc

Maybe I am completely off.
