Theres just so much to do within LA county it's insane. I dont think there is another county or city that as many things to do within it's borders then LA county. Maybe NYC. There's a reason it's called the entertainment capital of the world.

These photos are also awesome. I especially like the Olympic Park photo. And the Coke company. The condos also look nice. And the skyline is one of the best in the South.

Atlanta is not diverse at all, its a southern city in Georgia so what do you expect. Los Angles on the other hand is diverse with many races and cultures. As for crime, Los Angeles is probably worst than Atlanta. After all people in California have free spirits which is good. Atlanta is stuck in the pass so racism is big. As for physical features Los angeles has more to offer. The entertainment varies on your personality but I would think LA has more for everyone.

Actually Atlanta is very diverse...not quite like L.A., but much more diverse than the average U.S. city. It has one of the largest Korean communities in the U.S., and large populations of Vietnamese, Brazilian, Caribbean, Nigerian, Ethiopian, East African, Cuban, Chinese, Mexican, and others I'm sure I'm forgetting about.

As for the assumption that racism is worse in Atlanta...let's just say that it isn't. Atlanta was the center of the U.S. Civil Rights Movement and is a very tolerant city.

Im not going to push this because everyone has their opinion. But it is rascist just like everywhere else in the south and thats fact.

Not to be rude but just because the U.S Civil Rights Movement center in Atlanta doesnt mean anything. Hell kids at school argue still (whites and blacks) when the subject of slavery and civil rights is brought up and those are actions of our ANCESTORS IN THE PAST! So don't speak so fast because you'll be amazed. I'm in high school so I"m pretty sure I know how my generation reacts and it is all stupidity. We cant get mad at each other for what our ancestors did!

Man, do you ever have a lot to learn.

You can't judge a place you have obviously never been to. Atlanta is LIGHT YEARS away from Baton Rouge in every single way you can possibly imagine.

Sounds like your American History teacher fell down on the job.

I'm actually in the process of leaving L.A. to move to Atlanta in a few weeks. I've lived in L.A. for over 15 years have to say that I'm more than over the place. Granted I do love many aspects of the city; great outdoor activities, weather, arts, entertainment, diversity, shopping, etc. However, the one thing that struck me about the city from my first day here is that it does not seem to have a soul. The city doesn't have a true core and that leaves it a bit adrift in its identity, and oddly enough makes what should be one of the world's greatest melting pots a fairly segregated town. Add to that an unbelievably high cost of living that squeezes the poor especially, but also those who would be solidly middle-class in Atlanta, horrendous traffic (Atlanta has it's fair share also), and poor schools, it ends up being a great place to visit but not to live.

you know downtown LA is revitailizing and changing so it's core is coming along well. How are the schools bad, there are other cities around LA that have affluent schools really if you think LA has bad schools just because of Compton or other bad areas than your being naive cause that is just one area with low performing schools plus look at schools other places: Chicago has really bad schools they get shoot there. Also UCLA, USC are top notch. Have actually attended school in LA? You can't just assume cause other people say that.
