Hampton at this rate far exceeds NO and Baltimore. Hopefully not a trend

Philadelphia finished January at ~30, still unacceptable, but down 32% from last year and the the lowest since 2019.

I won't call this a trend yet, not until mid year.

Yea this is crazy and unprecedented for Hampton. Usually Norfolk/Portsmouth/Newport News have much higher crime rates in the area, and Richmond/Petersburg within the state.

Atlanta is off to a slow start with only 5 at pretty much the end of January. It had 15 by this time in 2022. It didn't have it's first one and only 1 until Week 3. I knew the peace wasn't going to last, but I hope it won't catch up to last year and end the year with less than the 2022 total of 170.

Going off of data from Gun Violence Archive, it seems that most larger cities are off to a bad start compared to the end of the last year.
