Kauai or Yosemite?
Kauai for the beaches and hiking the Napali coast would be exhilerating.
Tuscaloosa. I don't know much about Joplin, but I'm guessing T-town has better food options. UA's campus is a very nice place to walk around. It also has the river walk.
Bay St. Louis, Mississippi or Green Bay, Wisconsin?

I'll pick Bay Saint Louis, as I've briefly been in Green Bay before. Plus Bay St. Louis looked interesting, when I google street viewed it.
I've been to both states, but have explored Vermont much more extensively. While I'd love to go back to Vermont one day, I'll pick New Hampshire because it's more unexplored for me.
Which oil boom town would you rather check out:
Williston, North Dakota or Fort McMurray, Alberta, Canada?

I’ll take Fort McMurray mostly because it’s in a remote, northern part of Canada that I’ll never get to see. It has a really cool rec center. Looks like there may be some boreal forests to explore.

Columbus, OH vs Sacramento, CA
Sacramento, CA. More interesting surrounding with the wineries and mountains, near Lake Tahoe to. Columbus as a city isn't bad but outside of downtown and OSU there isn't much.
Martha's Vineyard MA or Key West FL?
