The one thing I agree with you on. Danielle Outlaw is largely absent and in over her head if you ask me.

Philadelphia needs Commissioner Ramsey back (of an equivalent).

What is there to disagree about though in a city and metro homicides 2020 thread limited to posting homicide counts? You previously objected to me posting the Philly homicide count; wasn’t a disagreement so much but more of an objection to someone posting about the out of control gun violence and homicides in Philly this year, especially this summer.

Outlaw needs to go back to Portland and is in way over her head in Philly.

A 32-year-old woman was killed in a stabbing at a Wicker Park Walgreens Sunday morning, Chicago police said.

The woman was working at the drug store located at 1372 N. Milwaukee Ave. when an unknown person approached her just after 9:30 a.m., police said.

The individual stabbed the victim multiple times and left the store, police said. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.

Community activist Andrew Holmes said the woman who was killed is the mother of two young children. Her name has not yet been released.

Police said it was the second time this week that someone armed with a knife committed a crime in this Walgreens.

"We're not sure if it was a robbery or was just a random act of violence," said Officer Jose Jara, Chicago Police Dept.

"At the moment we are looking for a possible male who was wearing dark pants, white gym shoes, a light-colored top," Jara said.

Detectives are trying to figure out if this killing is connected to an armed robbery at the same Walgreens just days earlier. On September 2, police say a suspect stole money from this store, also while wielding a knife.

28 shot, 6 killed thus far this weekend.

That Walgreens was robbed at knifepoint a day before. That location is an absolute mess, always some crackheads in or around it unfortunately.

This might be the most violent weekend I’ve ever seen in Boston.

At least 18 shot and 6/7 stabbed with many more shots fired calls and houses shotbuo: amazingly only one dead.

Zero coverage at all. Not one article from the Boston Globe

Mainstream media is protecting Dem cities from the poor optics of continued rampant violent crime. Trump was picking up on it and now violent crime is barely reported on in the national media unless it happens to be a white suspect (cop or civilian) and a black victim

All cities are mostly democratic. It’s such nonsense to talk about “democratic cities” when 95% plus of the core of urban areas are democrat. And besides that, Portland, Seattle, Boston, nyc, etc, don’t really have as intense crime rates/homicide rates as cities like KC and St. Louis, both in red states. It’s such nonsense to claim that because a city is democrat, it’s violent, when most cities are democrat and there are varying degrees.

And I BARELY hear about Democrats talking about rural areas, and there is a lot to go on about. Declining populations, drug addiction, bad economy, poor education, etc, etc. I mean seriously, nice small towns are a hard(not impossible) thing to find in America these days.

Exactly, even most suburbs are at least purple nowadays.
