Madison without a doubt. Wisconsin will forever be "home" for us even though we aren't living there right now.

I voted for OKC. Out of all of them i haven't been to Sioux falls or omaha so i can't speak for them. the others cities i just didn't like very much. They're all attractive cities, but im not sure they just didn't appeal to me. Madison was nice, but i don't understand what that hype about it is about. it seemed pretty average to me, but it was really nice looking. Not my kind of place though

None as far as I am concerned---I grew up in the midwest and do not like the weather plus a few other things. I prefer Colorado or the pacific northwest. Having said that, I must say that the midwest has alot to offer and a great place, in general to raise a family.

Okla. City for me. It's quite an up and coming city for it's size. Low taxes, weather is not too bad, and you can get anywhere fairly quickly.

I read on another forum that OKC's freeways aren't maintained very well. (At least to someone who was comparing them to the freeways in Des Moines.)

I'm not really sure. The only times I've visited OKC, the roads seemed okay but nothing special.

I've spent plenty of time there, and they are fine. Who cares about that anyways! Lol whoever started it hopefully didn't use it as a reason to move somewhere. I like clean roads, but would never let it be any sort of deciding factor as to whether i move somewhere or not.

It was someone from OKC who was on business in Des Moines - they were just making a comment that Iowa has nice interstate. (And if they think that they'd be blown away by Wisconsin) I definitely wouldn't say I don't care about the road conditions at all. That's your tax dollars. (more importantly, mine too. )
