Boston was number 2 last year and only number 3 this year in terms of outlook. So in summary: Boston is a sucky, overrated sinking ship and nobody likes it and it's terrible. And I hate it.
Yes, but the entire country has a smaller population than California. Toronto being 17th in the world is nothing to be ashamed of. Also, Montreal and Vancouver being in the top 40 of the world is pretty impressive.
Fair enough

Oh, and by the way, everyone agrees with me.

Definitely surprised to not see Seattle or Detroit on the list. Cool to see Phoenix on it, though.
Yeah Seattle not making the list at all didn't really make much since to me as other publications and firms usually rank Seattle as to 8 or 9th US city usually near Philly or Dallas.

Holy mother of smokes, I didn't even see their (complete) longlist at the end of their report. Thanks for that!

Prominent North American cities that were not among the 125 evaluated global cities include Detroit, Seattle, Denver, Minneapolis, and perhaps Portland and a pair of two Central Florida cities.
Philadelphia a top 50 city, and ranked over Dallas, a larger and much faster growing Sunbelt metro? We'll take it!
That's not saying much lol.
Philly, and many other American cities are way better than Dallas.
