No one even knows that club music is "Baltimore's", but everyone who has heard of Go-Go knows it is DC's thing and that's it, we don't share many cultural aspects with other cities like ya'll do.
Bama lol. Other cities like Brick city and Philly hopped on to Baltimore's club scene and stole it to make something of their own. Stop lying bruh. Everybody knows Baltimore created club music!

Your proud because Newark and Philly "hopped on" the next two cities directly up I-95? lol C'mon son, you've gotta be kidding me. ESPN First Take is in households all over the country and now across the globe.

Baltimore club is played in tons of clubs from Boston to Virginia, ATL, North Carolina, and even NYC. The furthest you here gogo is at MSU in Baltimore, Northern Virginia, and some points south of it.

You're completely out of base with this so I don't even feel the need to explain myself. But what needs to be stated that Go-Go is an entire 40 year genre/sub-genre of music, this cannot be compared to "Baltimore club music", which is merely a local replication. There are literally thousands upon thousands upon thousands of Go-Go songs and 100's upon 100's of Go-Go bands. "Baltimore club music" is not its own genre nor entity of music. It's house music simple as that, with hip-hop style mixed into it. Baltimore did not creat house music, nor did it creat hip-hop/rap. There is nothing unique that was done here. To compare it to Go-Go is completely asinine. No one outside the immediate east coast knows about Baltimore creating its own version of house music. I'm in the cities you mentioned often, as soon I tell someone I'm from the DC area the first thing they ask is "you listen to that Go-Go stuff". I'm talking people from Texas, Georgia, NYC anywhere, they've asked me that stuff.

Go-Go has traveled farther than "Baltimore club music" with bands performing in Japan, Europe, etc. Idk where you get your information from, but it's false, in the US Go-Go has been played in ATL, Carolinas, Tennessee, Florida etc. I was on South Beach just walking Ocean Dr and a restaurant was playing Go-Go (yes I'm as shocked as you are). I'm sorry but Bmore club is just too small to even compare. There is so much more depth to the genre/sub-genre that is Go-Go music, which is why it's featured in the new African American History and Culture Museum on the National Mall. There is no "Baltimore club music" section because it's honestly pretty minuscule in comparison.

Honestly the culture surrounding Go-Go music and the city of Washington DC could never come close to being replicated. The city's black culture is too well defined and one of the most unique in the US. I personally feel the two cities with the most glaring identifiable black culture are Washington DC and New Orleans. Baltimore does better blending in with the rest of the EC while DC has always stood out like a sore thumb. Same goes for NO in the South.

Back on topic DC-Chicago.
