I wonder if buildings like this are starting to catch on. I have seen two local building's with the exact architecture. I thought it was a little crazy looking but apparently this type of stuff is going up in other cities too. They look pretty good IMO, but I wonder if the public will think so. It is definitely out of the box thinking.
I definitely trust that Herzog & DeMeuron know what they're doing!
I wonder how they divide the condo fees for these hotel/residential combos? I would think they would need to be lower than if it were an all residential buildings. Having to share with hotel guests should drop the fee I would think. They better chip in something lol.....
Looks really good though and with unprecedented views!
The people who live in Trump are not sharing things like Gym, Pool, etc with Hotel guests, there are separate amenities for the residents. I believe they do share a lobby, but there are different elevators. Typically assessments are done a per sq ft basis.

I find the interior design of that penthouse to be kinda blah and uninspiring, but with those views, who would ever know?
Yeah, the interior staging was quite shameful and unbecoming its 35 million dollar sale price-but at least it sold.
Im sure its being tastefully decorated as we speak.
