Get under your skin, did I?...I never said entertainment was limited to Siegfried and Roy—just used that as an example, which most people would have been able to deduce...but thanks for the chuckle and lecture on inferiority complex while resorting to a moron, douchebag and gold chain reference (and it’s “wears”, not “where’s)—lmao...and I stand by my earlier comment that for a weekend Vegas and Miami are close but for a longer visit there are just more options in Miami/Miami Beach and SoFla

Anyways and moving on, glad we at least have common agreement on NYC, other cities, and look forward to more fruitful discussions going forward.

You have no idea what the wealth of other people are (especially on the Internet), and generally someone like yourself chirping about how much money they have to be able to afford to live a city like "Miami" (geezus), is usually someone with an inferiority complex.

Many people, including myself can afford to live well wherever in the world we please. It's not that big a deal. Get over yourself.

Hard for some douchebags to understand but many people who can afford to drive a Lambo down Ocean Drive will choose not to do so. Believe it or not, not everyone with money where's a heavy fake gold chain. Anyway, yes, NYC is a wonderful city as are many others - good point.

Emil is a an agressive Miami hater on the Miami forums. I take what he says with the teeniest tiniest grain of salt. Miami inspires some sort of ire in him. Like many on this forum, their hot takes on cities is based on personal issues and anger.

You attacked him/her first by calling him/her mentally limited. Your hatred for Miami is making you lash out at ppl on an internet forum. This isn't healthy. Whatever happened to you in Miami, I hope you seek therapy for it.

When you graduate 8th grade reading comprehension, please post about your success. The hostility was completely initiated by the poster whom you are defending. Anyway I won't be taking any more time commenting with you. Obviously you can't read and I have other things to do. Enjoy all your time on City Data and congratulations!

No, Polo was correct—YOU initiated hostilities after disagreeing with one of my replies and then insinuated (put words in my mouth) that I thought Siegfried & Roy was the only act operating in Vegas. Following your “mentally limited” comment it prompted me, based on past posts from you, to question whether your constant Miami bashing was possibly based on financial reasons. This was further reinforced in my mind when pulling up an old post of yours when you wrote about a $360 HOA air conditioner assessment from Florida ...$360–not $3600 or $10,000 and you turned to assistance from complete strangers on CD rather than a professional or close confidantes, for such a small dollar amount...really??

Furthermore, when you disagree with someone you frequently invoke infantile terms such as moron and douche bag when attacking those you do not agree with—including on this thread—or, incorrectly accuse them of being part of a real estate cabal conspiring to take over City Data forums. Talk about inferiority complex, just look in the mirror.

When you are ready to converse like an adult I will be more than happy to engage with you. Here’s a start—how is the Miami /SoBe restaurant scene “contrived” (your words) and vastly inferior to Vegas...both have the same/similar high end chefs or outposts (Keller, Andres, Jean-Georges, Starr, Mina, Boulud, etc); what Vegas based restaurants operate in Miami?...I know Miami based Sugarcane and Yardbird (medium range, not high end nor fast food) have outposts in Vegas and that Piero’s (and likely other restaurants in Vegas) are supplied with Stone Crabs by Miami Beach based Joe’s—the top grossing independent restaurant in the entire country. Both cities have NYC outposts; Miami has DC and Michelin-starred Fiola, and countless top European outposts, such as Positano’s Le Sirenuse, Zuma, La Petite Maison, Nusr-et, Novikov—often their first venture in the US and they choose Miami to launch such ventures. I have never seen a reply from you on this matter. Do you have reputable city restaurant rankings you can share?...if Vegas does one cuisine better it does not imply they do all cuisines better.

You seem to be well traveled—it would be great if you could back up some of your experiences and claims with more substance and less attacks.
