And you wonder why Philadelphia isn't a "destination" city.....
Seattle moves up list of top U.S. tourist destinations; now No. 18 (http://www.iconocast.com/B000000000000011/Z7/News3.htm - broken link)

Top US tourist destinations.

Boston isnt exactly setting the world on fire either.Certainly not in a position to be winging stones at anyone else.

1.NYC
2.Orlando
3.las Vegas
17.Boston
19.Philadelphia

In the past 20 years Philadlelphia has come a long way and arguably has a more vibrant dynamic downtown than Boston. Philadlephias downtown has really closed the gap on Bostons and dont be surprised if it begins to distance itself from Boston in the next 10-20 years.

As far as the neighborhoods. Boston being much smaller,much more insular,much more racist held up much better over the years than Philadlephia who took the complex issue of integration head on.

Maybe if Philadlephia took Bostons bigotted hateful stance it possibly may be more financially fit and aesthetically pleasing but Philadlephias heart was in the right place, Philadlephia has always been a leader in humanity and civil rights.

Quakers= peace, love and understanding

Puritans =prejudicial tyrants

No, really. I wanted to hand it to you, that's one of the most ignorant posts I've ever read this side of dementor/eurous. It was just horrible. I had no real opinion before your post- but if everyone from Philly is like you, the answer is clearly Boston.

Hey chief do you have anything worthwhile to add regarding this discussion Boston vs Philadlephia?If you do then lets hear it ,if not , I have to move.

You sound like you are itching for a fight which is music to my ears.I'm always looking for some keen repartee but you have to give me some something to work off of here,give me your thought process or some facts to back up your accusation.

Help me out here newb.
