Denver doesn't get as much as Boston or the rest of the Northeast, but it gets snow!

If you want to move out of the cold (and snow) then it looks like San Francisco might be the only large walkable city that fits you.

New York doesn't have as much of the brutal cold as Chicago, but it has the snow (albeit not this winter in both cases! Phew!).

Same with Boston.

Maybe smaller cities in the South like Austin but only certain parts are walkable.

That isn't the total picture, and could be a little deceiving, but when adding in the website:

Hipmunk: Better Flight and Hotel Search

and then entering an arbitrary check in and out date, you can click on one of the boxes on the top right corner of the map, and bring up a "heat" map of activities/entertainment.



Those could be helpful in starting to significantly narrow down your search.
