I'm from Orlando but if not I'd suspect Orlando is hellish for people that don't know their way around. For one thing our only interstate I-4 which is the 2nd most dangerous road in the country is labelled East/West when if you're visiting Orlando the only part in town is North/South.

I hate that. To go south you have to go west and to go north you have to east.
DC always seemed the worst to me on the highways, others are bad too like LA and traffic in parts of Atlanta are unpleasant. All areas have bad areas but the beltway in general in DC always seemed consistently the worst to me
I've lived in St Louis 4 years now and could not for the life of me think of a single toll road, much less toll bridge in the area.
After doing some research, I think it must have been the King bridge; a narrow outdated bridge owned by the City of East St Louis before it went bankrupt.
It has not had a toll since 1987. St Louis traffic has changed a bit since then It is very easy to get around the metro area IMO. Much better than San Diego where I grew up and Chicago where I lived for years.
Glad to see it has improved. It was in 1967 or 1969 and it was such a nightmare that we just always have found a different way to go and have avoided St. Louis ever since. As Gomer Pyle says, "If you do it to me once, shame on you; but if you do it to me twice, shame on me. Well it was shame on us the second time, but we have never been back.

I don't remember having any trouble around Orlando. My husband was there for three months and got a ticket for not stopping for a school bus that had stopped on the other side of a multi lane road and he did not see it. He had to go to traffic school. Here in North Carolina children never go across a four lane road. They are always let out on the curb side if the road is more than two lanes--one going each way.
It is always a little harder to try and find our way and look for traffic signs and drive in places we are not used to driving, but I remember both Orlando and Tampa as very friendly places.
