I think that the best large city in the east-southeast portion of the east-northcentral portion of the United States is Columbus, OH.

^But Springfield MO is larger and much more interesting. Did you include Springfield IL because it's a capital city? It can hardly be considered a "large city" by any measure.

I honestly doubt the majority of people who voted in this poll know very much about any of these cities except Chicago...This thread was destined to be an obvious Chicago victory.
